My daughter wants to know what that headline is about, she says that the slow news should be that it is taking forever for school to start back up. She's right, but that's not what I meant.
I've been having a lot of pain in my knee, and my PT guy has been kinda concerned. He's been asking every time I see him when my next doctor's appointment will be and has been having me lay off some of the exercises.
Well today I finally had my post-op appointment with my doctor (well, his PA) and they took an X-Ray. The good news is that everything seems normal and healing properly. The slow news is that the pain I'm having is also normal, and he said it might take as much as a year before it goes away completely.
Considering that I've been dealing with pain in the knee for about three years now, I can deal with another one as long as I know things are healing properly. But it wasn't really what I wanted to hear. Still, I was starting to get worried that something was going wrong, so it is comforting to hear from an expert that things seem to be going well.
I have PT again tomorrow, and I'll get back to my exercises tonight. I'm hopeful that things are on the right path.
