I had my post-op appointment with my knee surgeon today. It was supposed to happen last week but it was canceled due to the coronavirus, but rescheduled for today via telemedicine.
It was a little weird trying to get the webcam into a position where he could see my knee, but he said everything looks good, and he gave me the go-ahead to start trying to put more weight on the knee.
So since then I've been trying out getting around on one crutch instead of two and so far so good. I think I'll still use both crutches if I leave the house but at home I think one crutch will be fine, and I think I'll probably be walking semi-normally in a week or so.
I'm definitely not all the way better, and won't be for another month or two at least, but this is a huge step and makes me feel much better.
